ISeR laboratory was founded in 2008, its full name is "Information SEcurity Research Lab" (that is, information security research lab), it is by Professor Shi Wenchang led a research laboratory affiliated with the Data Engineering and Knowledge Engineering of Ministry of Education laboratory and the Department of information Science and Technology, College of Computer, Renmin University of China.

ISeR lab is to carry out security and code security system based information security research and practice, research interests includes: trusted computing, digital forensics, software security testing, and information security attack and defense confrontation.

ISeR Lab is a young and a laboratory. Since its establishment has just five years, to assume a number of important issues the project and made more fruitful research results. Lab teachers and studentspublished more than 40 papers in the well-known journals and on the conference, get three software copyright registration, publishing 2 books, textbooks.
